Stand-alone lunchtime workshops are run regularly throughout the Spring and Summer in a comfortable, easy to find venue in the centre of Oxford.  Each workshop lasts an hour and a half. These aim to give participants in a small group the chance to think through their home organisation aims without pressure. The session gives participants the opportunity to identify one or two personal decluttering goals, plan how to proceed, and offer a gentle push to get started. It  is also an easy way for us to meet for the first time!

Workshops are held for a small number of participants, to help conversations grow around what can be a sensitive subject. Advance booking is therefore required for each session. Please ring me (07876 197485) to book your place. Sessions cost £25 per person, payable on the day. Tea and coffee is available, for a welcome donation.

A evaluation survey will be circulated to participants after the session. Please complete this, to enable me to make the workshops as helpful to people as possible.

We will

  • strengthen our motivation to keep going
  • review our experiences of decluttering independently
  • evaluate what approaches have helped us
  • explore helpful skills that could be brought into play

In a small group we can share experiences, ‘test the waters’, and think aloud. Each workshop is run on much the same lines but they vary according to the needs on the day and some people like to attend more than once. There is no requirement that you will take on one-to-one work with Clear Space for Me, although some people eventually do.

The next workshop will be a collaboration between Oxfam and Clear Space for Me, this time held in the central hall in the Oxfam Superstore, Oxford Business Park, Cowley. The workshop will run from 5.30 to 7pm on Thursday 7th November 2019. There will be no charge for this workshop but please contact me to book as we will be limiting the numbers attending.

Further workshops have been scheduled for next year, if this one isn’t possible for you. These are similar standalone dates from Saturday 22 February 2020 onwards. Please phone to book your place, as before, as numbers are limited.

Beautiful Clear Space for Me gift vouchers are available for each workshop, so you can offer a friend the opportunity to meet me to discuss their clutter interests in a low-risk way. Please contact me for further details. You might also enjoy my infographic 5 Ways to Help your Friend Declutter

Feedback from workshops has encouraged me to offer clients some specific 1-1 time to follow up work that initially started in a workshop setting. Running groups to provide follow up is a rather clunky and inflexible solution, so I am currently piloting clutter coaching sessions to pick up on any stray ideas that have come out of our work together.

I am a trained developmental coach and a member of the International Coach Federation. I have full public liability for this offering and would welcome feedback as to how this 1-1 coaching option in a neutral setting could best help clients. Venues I would encourage are the cafe at the Ashmolean Museum in the city centre, and the Jury’s Inn hotel lounge in Wolvercote. Sessions would last for an hour and cost £40.

For the time being the pilot will run from October 2019 until February 2020. Priority will be given to workshop participants and previous clients. Please contact me if you would like to know more about this opportunity.

In Person

East Oxford Farmers Market

Clear Space for Me has a regular stall on the first Saturday of every month, from 10 am to 1pm.  The market is held in the primary school behind the Tescos on Cowley Road. You can often find artisan coffee and awesome vegan munchies around too. Come and say hello! I’d be delighted to offer a little impromptu accountability support.

You can find out more about the market at
