Workshop: How to make good decluttering decisions
Short stand-alone lunchtime workshops are currently running on an ad hoc basis at the Friends Meeting House in St Giles, Oxford. These aim to give participants in a small group the chance to think through their home organisation needs without pressure. The session aim is to help participants identify one or two personal decluttering goals, plan how to proceed, and offer a gentle push to get started.
Workshops are held for a small number of participants, to help conversations grow around what can be a sensitive subject. Advance booking is therefore required for each session. Please ring me (07876 197485) to book your place. Sessions cost £25 per person, payable on the day. Pens and paper will be provided, or you can bring your own. Tea and coffee is available from the Meeting House refreshments trolley beforehand, for a welcome donation. We will begin promptly at 1pm.
A evaluation survey will be circulated to participants after the session. Please complete this, to enable me to make the workshops as helpful to people as possible.
The next workshop (in the Library) will be on Wednesday 31st January at 1 – 2.30pm.
- examine some common ways in which decluttering decisions can be tricksy
- look at our own experiences of decluttering at home
- review what approaches have helped us
In a small group we can share experiences, ‘test the waters’, and think aloud.
Vouchers will be available for this event, so you can offer a loved one the opportunity to discuss their clutter interests as a Christmas gift. Please contact me for further details.
